Sending Relief Supply Kits:
UMCOR Supply Kits help to care for the most vulnerable people during times of crisis. They also help to sustain everyday life by providing basic necessities to people who lack ready access to essential supplies. By donating kit supplies or financial gifts to purchase the supplies, you make a direct, tangible difference in sustaining people's lives.
International distribution of relief supplies has been discontinued as of December 31, 2017. Relief grants will be offered to international partners to allow for local purchase and assembly of kits which are more culturally appropriate. US distribution of kits will continue with Cleaning Buckets, Health Kits, and School kits.
Note: Patriotic symbols, such as flags, do not need to be removed from relief kits. In the past, UMCOR requested that these were removed to ensure relief kits could move easily through international customs. This is not an issue for new relief kits.
Click on each kit's name below for the kit page, or click here to visit the UMCOR website for more information.
Cleaning Bucket (formerly called flood bucket); These supplies enable people to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up after a flood or hurricane.
If you cannot find the exact size of liquid cleaner as specified in the list, choose the next smaller size available.
Health Kit Health kits provide basic necessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes because of human conflict or natural disaster. Health kits are also used as learning tools in personal hygiene, literacy, nutrition and cooking classes.

* Special Note regarding Health Kits:
Churches/individuals/groups may choose to include a single check for the purchase of the toothpaste listed within Health Kits (instead of including a $1 bill for each kit). If this option is chosen, churches/individuals/groups are asked to mail the check separately to UMCOR Sager Brown Depot. Make the check out to UMCOR Sager Brown and note on the check: "For Toothpaste". Mail to : UMCOR Sager Brown, Box 850, Baldwin, LA 70514
School Kit In some countries, children don't have books or school supplies. Many have no schoolrooms; classes are held in inadequate or half-destroyed buildings, tents, or even the open air. School kits may be these children's only educational resources. Click here for the school kit bag pattern; click here for the video sewing instructions. Note that the bags can be purchased from a retailer as long as the dimensions are correct. Please ensure they are made of a durable fabric. http://www.cheaptotes.com/ is one online option.
Bulk Items The material resources program is always happy to receive kits and buckets fully assembled with all required items. However, the Relief Supply Depots can also use large quantities of any of the contents of any kit.
