Hurricane Michael Recovery
On October 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael made landfall on the Gulf Coast and greatly affected the Marianna-Panama City District of the Alabama-West Florida Conference. Efforts to respond were started even before the hurricane hit and still continue months later. We are now in the long-term recovery stage of our response and look to restore the affected areas to a “new normal.”

There are several ways you can assist with our response efforts.
We are so thankful that you are considering volunteering with us! Volunteer teams will be needed for months and years to come.
Our number one goal is to help our Hurricane Michael survivors recover. In addition, we want you to have an amazing time while you are volunteering with us. In order to achieve both goals, our standard schedule is for teams to arrive on Sunday, work Monday through Friday, and leave on Saturday. This schedule will allow us to ensure that we have adequate housing and work available for you when you arrive. In the rare case your team needs a different schedule, please let us know and we can discuss other options. Please remember that we schedule our volunteer teams to meet the needs of the survivors.
For information regarding registering your team, please contact Deion Cossio at email@example.com. You can expect a response within 3 to 5 business days.
**If you sent an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and have not heard a reply, please forgive us for technical difficulties we experienced recently. Now please reach out to email@example.com.
The quickest way you can personally help those in need is through monetary donations. You may donate online by clicking the image above or here, or send a check to:
