This summit will be an opportunity for members of small membership churches (membership under 200) to come together to learn from each other and a few specialists about topics that are relevant for small churches. Open for all lay and clergy.
The event will be at Blue Lake Camp in Oakwood Lodge. .8 CEUs are available for participants.
The schedule will include times of worship and communion, several breakout sessions, time for fellowship, and round-table discussion.
Breakout sessions will include these topics:
- Children and youth in the small church
- Being a lay-driven church
- Mission and Outreach in the small church
- Music and Arts
- Cooperative Ministry
- Fiscal, Trustees topics
