Workshop 1 (Children and Youth) | “What’s Ahead for the Next Generation: Using these strange times to be the church in new ways to grow your church, more effectively disciple leaders and kids, and engage parents.” with Erin English Kids and Student Ministries have shifted - literally overnight. As leaders, we’ve learned to flex our ability to “pivot” and likely will do so again, and again as we begin to shift and move into a new tomorrow. How has ministry changed? How has it stayed the same? And what can we do today to prepare for a better tomorrow? The initial scramble of reactive leadership and ministry strategy has now subsided, and we have the opportunity to forge a better way than even the one we left behind with proactive leadership, strategy, and intentional planning. Join in the conversation with Erin English, Family Ministry Strategist with Generis, and other like-minded leaders for a dynamic conversation on creating a better tomorrow TODAY for kids, students, and families. Erin English grew up in the Methodist Church and has served in kids and family ministries for more than 18 years. She comes with vast experience in ministry leadership, family and volunteer engagement, staff alignment, and designing an intentional and relational discipleship strategy. As a member of the Effective Ministry Team at Generis, Erin is an expert in equipping the local church to create and sustain healthy and growing kids and family ministries that support the church vision, mission and strategy.
