HLA is a week-long youth theology institute funded by the Lilly Endowment for rising high school juniors and seniors who feel may feel called to ministry or Christian leadership. Participants will engage with Huntingdon College religion faculty who give college-style lectures, lead and attend worship services led by local ministers, preachers, and students, visit areas of ministry in Montgomery, journey through the week with a small group of their peers led by a current Huntingdon student mentor, and have a lot of fun! Our 2018 summer dates are June 24-29, Sunday through Friday. The cost for the week is $100, and we ask that churches partner with families in providing the financial cost of HLA, with each paying $50. The primary goal of HLA is to provide students a space to discern their call while being supported in vocational discernment by peers, mentors, and leaders.
