Developing a healthy culture of generosity helps you to bring to reality the greater and expanded vision of your church. But how do you grow and develop a culture of generosity? In this workshop, we have partnered with Generis to help you rethink what is possible for your church. They will help you take biblical principles, proven strategies they have used to help churches of all sizes across the world, and your ministry’s DNA and collaborate with you to weave them together into a strategy that will help you fund your God-inspired vision.

Featured Speaker

  • Chris Stovall has over twenty-five years of church ministry experience. During that time, he has served in almost every capacity on a church staff including fifteen years as a pastor and church planter. Chris also has coached several church planters and has served on the Management Team/Board of several church plants, ministries and conferences throughout the country. Prior to ministry, Chris worked in corporate banking. Chris has a passion for the local church. The combination of his business and ministry experience gives him a unique perspective. Chris believes in learning everything he can about a church?s culture and their God-inspired vision and then helping them create a strategy and a plan for a successful generosity initiative. It is inspiring to hear the testimonies from people of how their lives were changed because of the ministry of their church and to see the culture of generosity within that church blossom.

The Rev. Dr. Nolan Donald of the Foley United Methodist Church and the Rev. Jay Cooper of First UMC, Bay Minette will also be on hand to share their experience of generosity ministry using Generis methods.

Lunch will be provided and CEU's will be awarded to all full participants.
