2010 Annual Conference Mass Choir

To all choir directors and singers in the Alabama--West Florida Conference:

My name is Wayne Sigler, and I am the director of music and worship at Frazer UMC in Montgomery, and once again this year Frazer will be hosting the Annual Conference. For our opening worship service on the evening of June 6 we would love to have singers from all over the conference join the Frazer choir to make a mass chorus. It has been a real thrill at past conference services to see a great choir from all of our churches singing together.

If you can bring a group from your church we will need for you to do the following things:

Meet us in the Frazer sanctuary at 4:00 pm on the afternoon of June 6 for a rehearsal with instruments and actors.
We will rehearse until 5:30 and then have an hour for supper. A pizza dinner will be available in the fellowship hall for $5.00 per person. At 6:30 we will begin reassembling for the 7:00 pm service.
You will need to order the three anthems and have the parts learned before you arrive on June 6. Here are the pieces:

Please bring your choir robes to wear in the service.
Please contact me at Frazer by May 29 with the number of people you will be bringing. Please also indicate how many people will be purchasing the pizza supper in our fellowship hall.
