NAAC* annual gathering, "When Heaven Touches Earth: Reclaiming the Mysteries of Faith for Baptismal Living Today" invites you to experience and explore the formative role of Easter in congregational life and our welcoming new Christians.
Join us for this ecumenical gathering July 29 through August 1, 2010 at the Duncan Episcopal Retreat Center with keynote leaders Gail Ramshaw, Professor of Religion at La Salle University, and Gordon Lathrop, author of the theological trilogy, Holy Things, Holy People, and Holy Ground. United Methodist leaders will include Taylor Burton Edwards, Daniel Benedict, and Elise Eslinger. (A full list of leaders and workshops is available on the *NAAC website.) The Conference Musician will be Mark Mummert, Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church, Houston TX.
Rich worship celebrations and reflection on the services of the Great Three Days (Holy Thursday to Easter) will open up the powerful and central enactment of our faith as converting and welcoming moments to those Jesus calls to discipleship.
