For Junior High and Senior High Students
Often we think of worship as a thing that happens in a room with lights and music. We look around the room and see people raising their hands in the air as a band or a musician leads us in songs while we look at the words being projected onto a screen. During these moments we feel alive as if we have awoken something deep inside of us that has been longing to get out.
What if worship was something larger than this experience? What if worship included these musical and vocal expressions of faith, but these events were simply a small part of the whole? What if worship was a state of mind, a way of living your life? How would your day be different if every aspect of it was viewed as worship? What would happen if when we worshiped it was facedown in awe of the God that created all things, in awe of the God that knows us better than we know ourselves, in awe of the sacrifice made on our behalf through Jesus? What would that be like? How would that change us? How would that change the world we live in?
This October join us as we worship God facedown.
