Conference News

Disaster Response

Most of you received our ongoing disaster response updates last week sent via e-mail. Thanks to Susan Hunt, we now have a page on our Web site that will be updated as we receive information. Click here to see that page. Churches around the conference collected a special offering this past Sunday. If you or your church would like to contribute and have not done so, information to donate is also on the special Web page. Our sincere appreciation goes to Amelia Fletcher, conference disaster response coordinator, as well as the district coordinators. Their efforts made a difference in reaching people immediately after the storm and having a consistent plan throughout the conference. Because this will be a long-term rebuilding process, we will continue to notify you of ways to help"whether by sending mission teams, donations or supplies."
