Job Title:  Homestudy Specialist        
Location:  Florida Foster Care (Inside of Milton Group Home)        
Status:  Part-time, under 20 hours per week
FLSA:  Non-Exempt    

Summary of Position
The Homestudy Specialist works closely with the Program Manager to recruit and train foster families in accordance with Family First Network (FFN) contractual obligations and in compliance with DCF Administrative Code.  This position requires the ability to travel over a multi-county catchment area and work flexible hours. 

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university required.  A minimum of five years of foster care experience required. Child Welfare Certification or ability to achieve Child Welfare Certification required. Proficiency in computer use and understanding of basic word processing and spreadsheet software required.  A valid driver’s license from state of residence, reliable transportation and driving record that will allow coverage on UMCH insurance policy required.   Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language required.
